Don't Read Books and Damn Proud of It

This hand wringing over African-American readers choosing lewd biographical swill over more literary novels is such crap. These people are buying books and reading them.

Who cares what they're reading? America has decided it prefers not to read.

Over 20% of adult Americans read at or below the 5th grade level.

And if you don't think it matters, you're probably illiterate.

So if African Americans want to read trashy gossip books, who cares?

Americans generally don't buy books, don't read books.

As a book printer, trashy gossip sounds pretty damn good.
