Gee whiz, it sures looks like Georgie boy wants to play hardball on letting Harriet and Karl, Alberto and maybe even Dick testify under oath about the suspicious firing of eight Federal Prosecutors.

When Sen. Sam Ervin (D-NC) went up against another arrogant Prez, he pushed the chips forward and said "All in".

He called Nixon's claim of executive privilege "executive poppycock".

*Ervin said that his committee's hearing guidelines, accepted by White House officials, reserve to his committee the power to decide by majority vote whether the refusal of a witness to answer a specific question is proper. If the committee decides it is not, Ervin said, he will seek to have the witness arrested for contempt unless he answers.
